What We Do
Our programme "The Apprenticeship for Life" is tailored to the needs of the individual and supported 24 hours a day 365 days a year by three full time staff as well as sessional workers and volunteers.
Accommodation is of a high standard and provides eight bedrooms based in two properties around large beautiful landscaped gardens. Each resident has their own room and access to a range of communal facilities.
Each week day is structured and normally includes with mentoring and one-to-one support:
Spiritual Input, discipleship and training
Life skills and work duties
Free time, personal enrichment and recreation
As well as supporting the individual resident, we recognise the importance of improving and rebuilding residents' wider family relationships.
Weekends are more relaxed and provides free, social and personal enrichment time. This can be a variety of activities from visiting local coffee shops, watching a good film in the cinema to go-karting, ten pin bowling or a meal out.
Our residents are also linked into worship at the foundry church and benefit from its varied and forward looking programme.
