Graduated Students...Back to Students

  Name: Peter Hall Graduated: September 2002  

Peter hall was the very first residential student here at the lighthouse. He has made a great success of not just his time with us but also his new life. Since graduating in September 2002 peter has grown in his life and his achievements. He has married Thea, and lives with her in their own home in Widnes . Since completing the lighthouse programme Peter has shown great character in his life and has been an inspiration to many other students here in the lighthouse. It was decided by the leadership that in September 2003 peter would be offered a full time position.
  Name: Charlie Mundy Graduated: September 2003  

Charlie graduated in 2003 after completing the apprenticeship for life programme he has now moved back to Swindon and is living independently. Charlie has been working in the construction industry and has a great future ahead of him.
  Name: Matthew Hall Graduated: September 2004  

Since Mathew's graduation from the apprenticeship for life programme in September 2004 Matthew has his own home and is living independently. He is currently on a training programme and also a volunteer as a trainee mentor with the lighthouse foundation while attending a computer training course at Halton college.

  Name: Matthew Barton Graduated: September 2004  

Since Mathew's graduation from the apprenticeship for life programme in September 2004 he has gone back to live with his parents in Warrington . Matthew has achieved the grades he wanted for his A levels 2 A,s and 2 B,s in maths, physics, chemistry, and biology.  He is continuing his education at liverpool's John Moore's University. Now in his second year, Mathew is studying bio medical.
  Name: Tim Francis Graduated: November 2005  

Since Tim's graduation, he moved into accomodation in Widnes while attending cronton six form college.  While there he achived two C's and a B in his A.S levels. Tim is now working hard in his second year doing his A levels.  He has managed to keep himself from the influances of his past and is taking huge steps towards his future.
  Name: Rodric Williams Graduated: November 2005  

 

Now a full time staff member at The Lighthouse, Rodric has been very successful since his graduation.  He is preparing to get married to Kate in January 07 and he now has his own home.  Rod is the ideal inspiration for students who are currently working through the Apprenticeship For Life.  Rod has been able to apply all the knowledge of his own experiances to help others achieve their own goals, and his contributiion to the team at The Lighthouse is a true asset.

  Name: Robert Molyneux Graduated: October 2006  

Since his graduation, Rob has been able to maintain his own life completely.  He has been at Halton collage full time studying computers and english. He has fully restored all relationships with family members and has been able to live independently here in Widnes.  As man who was addicted for such a long time, he is a real testament to what can be done through hard work.  He has achieved all he has this far because of his determination, and with the continued application of that he will go on from strength to strength.  Robert's story is a story of success.  It is a story that can inspire others to achieve all he has achieved.
  Name: Neil Hughes Graduated: October 2006  

Since his graduation, Neil has become a training mentor here at Lighthouse.  He is a real encouragement to the other students, helping then to go through the challenges in their lives by sharing his.  He has been able to grow in his own life, still working through many things himself.  Neil has accomplished lots and will, i am sure, be very successful in the future.
  Name: Steven Lawrie Graduated: October 2006  

Since his graduation, Steve has now been living independently in Halton. He has been attending St. Helens College on a catering course, hoping to do this line of work in the future. Steve will be very successful in all he does
.
  Name: Craig Le Savage Graduated: October 2006  

Since moving on from the Lighthouse, Craig has lived a very successful life in Guernsey.  Craig now lives independently, and is in full time employment as a painter and decorator.  Of all the students who have gone through the Lighthouse Foundation's Apprenticeship For Life Programme, Craig has had to face the most severe challenges.  Now to see him, living a full and productive life, is a testament to all the hard work he has put in.

Mathew Hall & Mathew Barton have worked hard during their time with us here at the lighthouse. We were able to have a great graduation service for them in our morning service here at Church @ The Foundry. It was a time of real rejoicing for both them and their families seeing just how much they have achieved in overcoming their problems.
