The ethos of the foundation is simply expressed in its mission statement “A brighter future for hurting lives”

The Lighthouse Foundation is a department of Church @ the Foundry, Widnes . Established in 1997, out of the vision from the leadership it is dedicated to improving the welfare of the neediest sector of the community and also committed to not only reaching those who's lives have been devastated by addiction, but giving support to their families also.

"Signpost" - our out-reach work on the streets, meets with the homeless and the addicts nightly in the local area. We provide essentials like food, clothing and sleeping bags.

It is our view at lighthouse that although there are people who are helpless in there addiction they need not be hopeless.
